The safe is an excellent addition to our household security. It is bolted to the floor with the fixtures supplied. Now, it is impossible to move it unless you have a key and can access the bolts once more. It is very solidly built. The door closes with the sound like doors on an expensive motor car. The safe is good looking but we have installed it out of sight to avoid prying eyes. Purchase of the safe means we meet the requirements of our insurers. Hopefully, it will never be put to the test by thieves but if it is we have every faith in it.

Product is great. Looks exactly like the picture. Sturdy and came with all the necessary bolts. Delivery was quick and very efficient. No complaints at all.

This safe is exactly what I need, as it is just small enough for me to tuck it away, but big enough for me to keep cash, keys, and other items inside when I leave the apartment. The only very light worry I have, to be frank, is the lock mechanism. When I turn the key, the mechanism does not feel as sturdy as others I've used before. I know this is strange to say, but I often have the worry when would happen if the lock mechanism breaks and I cannnot get my passport out when I need to run for a flight... I have two other safes, and their locking mechanisms feel much more solid and smooth than the one on this unit...

An excellent small safe for domestic use.

The capacity is sufficient for small valuables; documents and some cash.

Its relatively small weight allows it to be moved and positioned without undue effort.

Its small size means that it can be positioned discreetly in a number of places around the home

I did find that securing it in place was awkward. It can be secured through bolts or screws in the back and base of the safe. I found the floor securing holes almost impossible to get to and eventually gave up with these.

Overall, a low cost good value security option

This safe is very well made and looks to offer high levels of security and great value for money. It was easy to install but the screws supplied seem a little small however I guess they are ok for the job as they are the ones specified / supplied. The door has a spring so that when it is unlocked it is pushed open. Storage space is a little limited but the size is clearly specified on the item description. The shelf is good but the clips holding it in place are a little flimsy. overall I am very happy with the safe.

Having researched various products on the market, we felt the Alpha plus 2K fitted our requirements perfectly of the safe storage of passports etc for my elderly mother. This proved to be correct, it was easy to fit on a work surface and to operate with the key. The only thing that would make it better, is for the possibility of the safe having adjustable legs which could be bolted to the floor, to save bending down if people didn't have a suitable higher surface to put it onto.We would thoroughly recommend this product to friends & family. Well done Chubb for designing such a neat product

Very quick service and delivery. Well built, chunky and easy to fit. Comes with everything you need to secure to wall or floor. Would like to have seen a piece of material on the shelf in case you wanted to put watches directly on to the shelf. Great all round!
