These are great little padlocks. Got a few gates in my garden so these come in handy especially being keyed alike. These are not going to be padlocks to stop burglars with the right equipment to break in. But are a nice little deterrent. All in all good little padlock...

To start with the positives, the service provided by safe.co.uk was excellent, the product being dispatched and delivered very quickly, and the parcel arrived sound and undamaged. Furthermore, the price for the product was very competitive, based on my web search.

However, I am very disappointed to discover after fitting the locks on my yacht only 3 weeks ago, that the shackles are already showing significant rusting. Clearly the rusting should not affect the mechanism which is said to be of brass construction, but I am concerned that the locks will become difficult to open in due course. I understand that a marine environment is harsh on steel, but I would have expected from the description that they would have resisted the elements rather longer than appears to be the case.
