Asec 5 Lever Deadlock (50mm, Polished Brass) Review

The lock is a very simple mechanism, and because it is slimline it's ideal to fit on external doors which have a relatively narrow cross section. It complies with our insurance company's requirement for security to helps towards getting the necessary reduction on our premium.

The operation of the lock is very smooth and the brass fittings look suitably stylish. There is a nice round cover plate for the outside of the door which swings easily to allow for the key to be inserted into the lock and a different plate internally though I don't tend to deadlock the door at night. Overall a great product!
