Asec AS3301 Digital Lock (Satin Chrome) Reviews

These are effective digital door locks. Used on a wooden external utility room door, the lock provides reasonable security. Fitting to a wooden door can be tricky and requires some careful drilling as some required holes are close together. Once done, the unit fits snuggly. It's well made and should resist the weather. Although a 4 digit code was used in my case, the numbers are not sequential - any order will operate the lock. Not a problem now but if the surface of the buttons begins to wear it may be much easier for a potential intruder to gain access. The opening knob on my version is initially rather stiff but this has not been a problem so far.

It's a effective lock and whilst not the most sophisticated, it's appropriate for my application
