The lock was fine and fairly easy to fit to replace a similar lock that had a broken Spring.

Was replacing an existing ERA lock so fitting was a doddle, and I knew what I was getting.

Delivery time was very good.

I purchased the Era Viscount 5 lever sashlock to replace a lock that had worn in the key mechanism, such that the key often just spun in the lock..

Removal and replacement is very easy, there are 'how to..' videos that describe the process.

The new lock was exchanged and fitted in about 10 minutes (with appropriate tools to hand) and works perfectly. The only issue I had was the face plate part where my orignal had chamferred corners and the new one had square corners. I could have got the carpentry tools out but in fact it still works without issue as a straight replacement. I have other similar aging locks and will replace them with the same as and when required.
