Stone key safe very good I am able to hide it with ease in the garden so all the family can have access to an emergency key. The fitting at the bottom could be better perhaps a small screw than can be turned

as i have a very badly broken leg due to the fact i got locked out and had to climb a wall which i fell off i broke my ankle,tibia,fibia,i wish i had rocky a lot sooner.seven months in a titanium frame and six to go.

fantastic just what i have been looking for,so pleased i have found this site and i shall use it again in the future and tell my friends about the key safe, it just looks like a stone with all the other stones scattered in my garden it would be difficult for anyone to find it,maybe i should invite my friends to see if they can spot where the key safe is in my garden and then i could get them interested in buying the key safe for there garden and never get locked out of there property ever again.

Easy to use and sits quite well among my existing pebbles

I ordered this safe lock stone as I had again locked myself out of the flat. I then had to get my daughter from her work to let me in. I was unsure where to place it as I do not have a garden. So I put it in a flower pot and added some other stones.I rather stood out at first as new.I rubbed it with some soil and it blended in really well, The delivery was amazing it arrived the next day ! The stone was very easy to open and there is plenty of room inside for two keys.Keys all SAFE and sound now well. done

The safe is just what I wanted. Others were too small to hold the key I had so this one being just a bit longer held the key securely. The key is not a large one just a standard yale type one.

Impossible to shut with key inside.

I like it, because it means I do not need to worry about being locked out. It is good as I have a large garden so it is easily hidden among the other rocks that are already there. I do think a key safe is good too, but as this is just for my own personal use it is ideal. If you are worried about someone finding it and using it, you can also bury it in a plant pot and no-one would ever know that it is there. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if ever I was to leave my key or lose my key I would still be able to easily gain access to my house. It is a whole lot cheaper that have to pay over £100 pounds to a lock smith to change locks and issue me with new keys. You just never know when you need to use it as accidents can happen when you least expect it. I am glad I purchased this item because even when I have given relatives a spare key incase I get locked out. It was no use, because it does not happen very often, so they could not remember where they put the keys I had given them for safe keeping. Having my own keys safely in the rock and well hidden from sight is much better because I will remember where I put it and it saves me relying on others to remember where they have put my key.

Having locked myself out twice wanted a key safe that would work outside. No idea where to get one so found The Safe Shop online and easily found a rock safe which looked ideal. It came very quickly, looks authentic and was exactly what I was looking for. Reviews had stated that the product is not brilliantly watertight so have put my key in a plastic bag, but so far I have not experienced any water inside, but obviously the winter may test this out better. I would recommend this product for outdoor key storage. It was easy to find a suitable place to locate it where it does not stand out and looks like part of the garden.

Does the job of blending in with other garden stones etc.

It looks like a rock and blends easily in our rockery. It can fit about two keys. The cover at the back had a loose fit.

If you have plenty of rocks in your garden it's ideal. The plastic piece that holds the key in place is not very secure, it needs to be a tighter fit......in my opinion.

These are great as I forget my keys sometimes and look really like a stone and are good to hide discreetly. You can’t get loads of keys inside but one or two is fine for what I need. The bottom opens up for space to hide your keys perfectly and seems watertight.

The delivery of the key stone was quick and I have no complaints regarding fb this indie company. It was slightly more expensive than on other sites but I wanted to support a small independent business instead especially during these difficult times. I’m really pleased with with the Sterling key rock safe.

Just what I wanted. A discreet and realistic stone to hide a key just in case of emergencies.It's not noticeable in amongst other stones. So far its working as I expected.

Yes, have had one of these for years, and now took one to Australia for daughter.Think they are very good and blend in with the garden, but most of all SO useful.

Family in and out,have their own keys, but I still thought they needed one of these stone key safes.

We’ve had one for years, well hidden and used occasionally, but I know it’s there, slightly broken on the top, but that’s ok, it works for us.

This is the second of these I've bought in recent times which says something about the product! Its simplicity is what makes it great, so easy to use and does the job perfectly. My only warning, don't hide amongst a rockery full of very similar stones - I've spent too long in the wee small hours, in the dark, trying to remember exactly which one has the key;) Would definitely recommend for anyone who has unreliable children, partners, or has a habit of locking themselves out of the house! Great value for money compared with the cost of having to break into your own house.

It is absolutely perfect. Some reviews suggested the cavity wasn't large enough to hold 2 keys, but it is more than adequate. I did anticipate that the product would look really artificial amongst other pebbles in the garden but it blended in really well. It is really reassuring to know that I have a spare set of keys and have the confidence that the key safe is well camouflaged and is not obvious to any potential intruder. It really is a great product and gives me independence from having to rely on a keyholes. Great value, great product, great idea.

Simple, reasonably effective

This product does what it needs to do. It looks like a stone and fits well into one of my borders (which contain small cobbles). The size and texture are good and it blends in well. The size of the holder is good – it easily fits a yale key (for my backdoor). I did feel that the plastic holder which fits into the mock stone didn’t fit as snugly as it could. I was worried that the weight of the key would mean it would drop out of the stone when it was picked up. The plastic was flexible and I did manage to stretch it a little so that it fits in more tightly.

It holds a large key which meets our needs.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this product as the key went rusty very quickly, which defeats the point of this product.

A great product - neatly hides two door keys (Yale and Chubb style). Very realistic looking - you'd never know it was a key holder. Mine is buried under gravel; if you do hide it amongst stones, note where you left it 'cos it'll be hard to find!
