I used this lock to replace a very much older lock. Although standard sizes seem to have changed there was very little work to do, even in a solid wood door.

Good price, fitted into door very easily. I took measurements from old lock in door and found the measurements on the diagram on the website made it easy for me to order the correct size of lock. I should mention I am in no way a competent handyman and so was very impressed with how easy it was for me to install the lock with no struggle and then for the lock to operate properly. It is also worth a mention that the delivered price of the lock was substantially less than other websites. In short, a very strong recommendation.

Easy to order, arrived quickly, easily installed in place of a previous bathroom lock that had failed. New lock is a better build quality than last one, only requiring minor adjustments to accommodate it in the door. Customer very happy with the finished product, which is what every tradesman wants at the end of the day.

Bought to replace a similar lock with a latch which could be reversed without dismantling the lock. The downside of this was that the latch was weak and sheared off after a few months. This lock's latch is much more solid. When reversing it you will need to keep an eye on the internal assembly as the sprung parts will separate, but it is quite easy to work out how they fit together (printed instructions would be useful). Otherwise the lock works fine and is good value for money.

It replaced a handle/lock of the same type which had failed after much use over the years.

I was happy that the size shape and function were the same which made the fitting /assembly etc. very easy.

Iam in no doubt that other ones will need replacing in the future and know exactly where to get them!

This was a direct replacement for a damaged / worn lock that had been in place for many years and it fitted perfectly and worked as expected.
