It has a cheap handle that feels like it will break when you open it. Its allegedly electronic although you cant change the code. I have safe in another house that cost less and is of much higher spec. If it didnt weigh so much I would return it and get a different one.

The safe was delivered before the expected date (fortunately not a problem) but was left outside the front door by the courier on a pallet which was a small unexpected problem. As a result it could not be moved upstairs but was packed well. It was exactly as described and fits my purpose perfectly with plenty of space.The interior contained useful special areas in which to put valuable items such as passports and bank materials. It was easy to set up and allowed the use of your own memorable pin number. The safe is very sturdy and rather industrial-looking. Very satisfied.

It feels lighter than I expected and I think bolting down will be a must.

When looking at other fireproof safes of this size, however, the price point is pretty good, especially as we had a deal with double the difference which I wasn't expecting to be honoured. Apart from the plastic handle the safe feels sturdy and easy to operate with the key pad. The delivery was fine, apart from waiting till later in the day to confirm it was on its way and the customer service, from what little I have experienced has been good.We needed a large enough safe for some special documents, so I just removed the draw and lockable case which were a bit superfluous really.

Good item but the instructions should have been a bit more easy to understand. The handle looks a bit fragile.

An excellent safe for peace of mind. We keep all important docs in it such as passports insurance docs and also memory sticks. Most important to us is that it is fire proof for long enough to survive a house fire. It would be an absolute disaster if we lost any of this stuff to a burglar or a fire. The chances of experiencing these events is very low, but at least we are protected, JUST IN CASE!!!.
