Union 1332 - Double Throw Drawback Night Latch (60mm, Brass) Reviews

I used it to replace another exactly similar lock which ,after

about 20 years regular use,was worn out.As a result it was

very easy to fit. I was unable to find this lock in the usual

DIY shops so I was delighted to be able to source it from

yourselves on the Internet.

Very solid and reliable. Used it to replace an identical lock which had been in use for 50 years so not expecting to ever have to change it again! Glad to find I could get exactly the same lock as before so no cutting or filling needed and the whole thing was done in 10 mins.

I bought the Union 1332 to replace the existing one, which had been on the front door for over 30 years. I decided to buy the brass lock because it looked smarter than the original grey night latch. I found no problem with the fitting because I copied the length of the cylinder fixing screws and the connecting bar. The ease of use is better than before and security is good for front door with stained glass windows. The night latch was expensive but very good value for money.
