Because of the loss of keys for my front door, it became necessary to change the existing Chub lock. I searched all local ironmongers for a 5 lever lock of similar proportions, to no avail. I then did a search on the net ,and I found to my delight, the Union lock which was suitable in every dimension to fit my door , avoiding major alteration to the door cavity. It was a rare experience to find, that over a long period of time, the dimensions had not been changed, in order to create obsolescence.

Excellent efficient speedy service. Lock fitted in place of the original lock without any adjustment. Details of spec and dimensions of the website are detailed and perfect.

As always Chubb locks or the best for Security and do not give any trouble even after a long period of time. We have Chubb which have been on for 20 years.

This lock was to replace an old unit, so had to fit the old slot and keyholes. I had tried a unit from another source which had the correct spec but didn't fit. This lock arrived well packaged within 48hrs of order. It fitted perfectly. Replacement was as simple as could be wished for. The lock is in constant use and appears to be very robust. We have had no problems with sticking & the keys fit well & turn effortlessly. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this product as a very good quality, sturdy, easily fitted, well constructed lock.
