Yale 89 - Deadlocking Night Latch (60mm, Chrome) Review

The operating lever on a previous Yale lock was machined to a far superior standard in that it was much more rounded and comfortable to operate whereas on this model the lever is less rounded and the corners are a bit sharper and less comfortable to operate.

I later purchased a Yale finger pull separately to facilitate closing the door but found that it did not allow the cylinder to fit within the machined rebate so had to carefully reduce the diameter to make it fit. Whether this is a machining error on the cylinder or the finger pull I don’t know but certainly not what I would expect from a Yale product.
