The long flexible shackle is really useful to link the suitcase zip to a handle and prevent invisible tampering. It's longer than on most other padlocks too.

There's only one caveat. It's easy to set the code using the side button - but also easy to mis-set. One number must have been one very slightly off-set when I first put my code in, so when I arrived at my hotel with padlocked suitcase I couldn't open it. After trying every number in turn off-set 1mm left and right, we did get it open - and then I reset it very carefully. It's been fine since then.

Recommended - but take care setting the code.

It was advertised as 2mm but the bit that clips in the the lock is bigger making it useless to me

PROS

I love this padlock! It has a soft shackle that lets you use it on any object as it will adapt to the surface. As it is flexible it allows you to use it on backpacks and hook multiple pull tabs so you will be able to secure your backpack with just one padlock. I used it to secure my Osprey luggage and the daily backpack that was hooked to it.

CONS

I would not recommend any TSA approved padlock to protect your most beloved possessions, as a photo of the TSA master keys was published years ago on Washington Post and now everyone can print a set of master keys with a 3D printer and open any TSA approved padlock.
