Not excessively heavy so could be handled easily into its desired location. Security was simple to set up and easy to use. Easily handles A4 folders (have to be laid flat). The shelf was an added bonus.

Being a novice to safes I went for a well known name and I wasn't disappointed. I wanted a safe to use for a few personal belongings at home and did not want to unpack the safe every time I went in it. The space is great you can get quite a lot in it and the shelf very useful. The shelf can also be removed if desired. The lock and keypad is easy to use and the audible alerts help. Seperate master keys are provided just in case, there are two. Batteries were easy to fit. The fixings provided were adequate but easy to fit and will do the job.An internal light would have been useful but I purchased one seperately.

Easy to set up, adequate size and of reasonable quality for the price.

The security it gives. The lock does not function smoothly it needs coaxing.

Great value quality safe. Ideal for household security in conjunction with a reasonable alarm system. Turned up exactly when expected and with free delivery too. Unfortunately my device arrived with slight cosmetic damage, paintwork and a small dent, I assume from the delivery company, there was damage to the packaging as well. I contacted Safe.co.uk and explained what I had found and negotiated a substantial discount return for goodwill with an apology. Great little safe for keeping those papers that need to be kept! Not sure how good it would be for the Crown Jewels but I haven't got them anyway! Good choice for fixings, floor, back, etc. so no complaints

Amazing overall true to size

It seems just what we needed, to store several fairly bulky items, that are valuable to us but not so easy for a thief to sell. We can cope in other ways should all be lost in a fire, a fire resistant safe would have to be on the floor and this would be too inconvenient.

Once installed and the lock code established very straightforward following instructions. With the shelf removed there was space available for our Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney binders. There was remaining space for any valuables we needed to store. This product has proved to be everything we required for item safety and our peace of mind.

We bought this safe as it seemed to the size we needed and it lived up to this. The interior size and shelf is excellent, plenty of room for files and valuables.

Easy to install, and use afterwards. Quality seems to very good. Would recommend to anyone as long as you have an easy place to install.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SAFE IS GOOD AND THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIALS EXCELLENT. THE SHELF IS NOT USED BY ME AS I HAVE A LARGE BOX TO KEEP IN THE SAFE. THE SHELF STANDS NICELY INSIDE THE SAFE AND TO ONE SIDE. I HAD SOME DIFFICULTY UNDERSTANDING HOW TO LOCK THE SAFE WITH THE BAR CODE BUT THE SIMPLICITY BECAME APPARENT WHEN I REALISED THE RED BUTTON INSIDE THE DOOR HAD TO BE ACTIVATED FIRST. I USED THE KEY A COUPLE OF TIMES TO LOCK THE SAFE BUT DID NOT FIND IT EASY IN ALL CASES TO REMOVE THE YELLOW BUTTON BECAUSE ON MY SAFE IT WAS A REALLY TIGHT FIT AND I USED A KNIFE TO REMOVE IT. THE SAFE IS STORED AWAY IN A LOCATION ONLY KNOWN TO ME AT HOME AND I WAS ABLE TO SECURE IT TO A WOODEN STRUCTURE WITH MY OWN FOUR FIXING BOLTS AND RAWLPLUGS. I WAS NOT ABLE TO FIX THE SAFE TO A CONCRETE FLOOR.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SAFE AND CAN RECOMMEND THE SAFE TO OTHERS.

Very poor quality IMO

On renewing our house and contents insurance , my wife and I were surprised about how the value of her modest jewellery collection had climbed over 40 years. We needed a medium sized safe. The Yale fits the bill perfectly. Well made, easy to set up and fix to the wall and/or floor.

It is good that you get a pair of keys to over ride when batteries go flat. All fittings came with it. Sturdy build and looks good, I can definitely recommend these safes, ideal for storing essential documents.

Your company offered the best price on the market, better than Amazon (which I would rather not use anyway), with the same quick delivery. The safe was easy to set up and use and resetting the code is straightforward as well. The design is fine and it fits neatly into the corner of the room. We actually use if for storing sweets and sugary food which our children were previously eating too much of, so it has many uses. I would recommend this as a good basic purchase for anyone who wants a decent quality, well priced and easy to use multi purpose safe.

We bought this safe when we moved our home from Staffordshire to Nottingham. Previously we had a safe from B&Q which was small but did the job.

The safe we purchased from SAFE (with us) was only about 50% more than the previous one we had, but the capacity of it was much, much more. It has a shelf and the volume is very good, storing documents and items of jewellery below.

We lost our keys which would open it in the event of battery failure, and contacted the company. They were absolutely wonderful if helping us and they replaced our lost keys within days free of charge.

I would certainly recommend this company for the product we bought, the quality is excellent and for the after sale service which was beyond our expectations.

The safe was exactly what I wanted. Previously had a fireproof safe but when the electronic keypad broke down there was no way to open the safe without using an angle grinder to cut it open. This safe has a key back up if there are any problems with the keypad. So I can use the key to open the safe to access my important documents and so can rest assured that this wont happen again. Very good value safe, delivered on time and easy to fit. I would recommend this safe and your service to anyone considering buying a safe

Looking for a reasonably priced home safe found a Yale model that ticked my boxes. Then found same model cheaper on another site. Safe price matched the offer I'd seen and then added extra discount so I got the safe I wanted and extra money off. Can't complain. Delivery was quick and well communicated. Overall I was very happy with the service i received and would happily recommend safe.co.uk to any of my family and friends. With hindsight I would have purchased a larger and heavier safe. Easy to use but hard to bolt to the floor. Now it is installed I feel secure. Requires stronger bolts than supplied. Also items need to be placed in fireproof wallets as this safe is neither fireproof nor waterproof.

Really pleased with this safe, which is ideal for small but important documents such as passports, currency, etc. Light enough to be easy to install single handed, but feels strong enough to resist ‘normal’ attack from domestic threats. Comes with everything you need. I used the thin polystyrene sheets it was delivered in to make a base for the inside of the safe to avoid having to scrabble about and lose things in the ‘lip’ on the inside bottom of the safe. Not a safe to store the crown jewels in, but that wasn’t what I bought it for! Very happy with purchase, and delivered very efficiently as usual.

Good value for the price, although a serious attack with a crowbar might succeed . This safe would delay a burglar which may deter as time is of the essence in most break-ins.

I have installed it within another cabinet with a lock so it would take time to break in to it.

I also have an alarm system.

The Yale safe has lots of room to store quite large items also the shelf inside can be remove which is useful.

It is very easy to set the code and comes with back up keys in case of battery failure.

I would recommend this product as part of your overall security regime.

It was also delivered promptly and undamaged which is always a plus.

Wanted somewhere to put some of our valuables out of sight, also some sentimental bits that although aren’t of any great value we’d hate for them to be lost to us.

There is a shelf which is handy, it does drop to bottom or comes right out so you can put an A4 size folder/papers in as well. The opening handle has a bit of play on it but doesn’t seem to be an issue, it opens/closes perfectly.

The packaging could be better padded around the handle area, when it arrived with us the box was damaged around this point and you could see the round of the handle where it had rubbed away. It had rubbed a bit of paint off but as it was going inside a cupboard that wasn’t an issue for us.

Well I am extremely pleased with the Safe that I purchased, its storage capacity is lovely and I can fit all that I need to inside.

Its ease of use is very pleasing and as I am partly disabled, this is very important to me so I can retain my independence and retain my security within my home.

Its value for money is equally necessary as being on a low income I need to spend what I have carefully, yet I wanted the best product; and your product ticked all the boxes for this.

The build quality is not only strong, which you need for a Safe; but the design is very pleasing to the eye, the handle that you open the Safe with is easy for me to grip, especially as I have severe nerve damage which can make doing this difficult for me. The key pad is clearly marked and being partially sighted this is wonderful to make the ease of use of the Safe for me.

In all I must say well done for the overall quality of this product, and I would not hesitate to recommend this to my friends and family.

Bought to keep important documents and valuables in. Seems to have been well put together and is pretty substantial. Good value for money. Easy to fit, either via back / base or both. I invested in rawlbolts to secure to concrete base and wall and filled in the space behind to stop anyone trying to jemmy from the rear. If anything the shelf is a little flimsy but serves its purpose. It was also important that we were able to get a couple of laptops in. Overall good value for money, delivery was prompt and as promised so we are happy

The safe was just the size I was looking for. It is easy to use and the shelf works well allowing paperwork and jewellery to be stored separately. It was not too heavy to move about and when it came to fixing to a wall and securing it completely, the instructions were simple to follow. Ordering and delivery worked extremely well and it was delivered on the day specified. Having looked at quite a few different models and at very different prices, I felt that this safe was indeed, the best value for money and I now feel a lot happier when we leave the property, knowing our valuables are safe.

This is a perfectly adequate sized safe at 390 (h) x 350 (w) x 360 (d) with electronic keypad entry and manual key back up, it's has a good internal size with a shelf and was easily wall mounted and simple to use. You can usually guarantee that a Yale product will be fit for purpose and this safe is definitely that. We use this as a general key safe for our staff so it gets used numerous times on a daily basis and hasn't let us down yet. Great product at a great price and we would definitely recommend this safe to companies and homeowners alike.

I am very Happy with the safe I purchased.I have found it to be Good value for the price I paid. I am very happy with the capacity of the safe as this has allowed me to keep document folders in it and jewellery in their boxes.Which is something you cannot do with the smaller safes in this price range. It came with fittings which was good and the safe was easy to install. I liked the choice of being able to secure the safe both to the floor and to the wall thus making it difficult to prise out of its placing. overall a good value purchase.

The safe is great. I am very happy with it. The storage capacity is fantastic. My least favourite thing is the closure because it feels not too strong. I booked for a professional installation and I am delighted with the box. it is exactly what I wanted. One thing that could be improved is that, because we normally keep safety boxes in a not very visible place, it tends to be quite dark so I need a flashlight in order to see the contents. it would be great if it could incorporate an inside light. it that case I would have rated it 10/10

I bought one a safe from safeshop a fews agao for another site I was working at and It was perfect for the job, it was compact but with ample space. Staff found it easy to use and it was nice and secure having been bolted to the floor and the wall. I moved to manage a different site and decided to replace a big old safe with a smarter more compact one so bought from safeshop again. I was not disappointed and our insurers rated it as more than acceptable, staff here find it much better than the old one too!

Good product, good name, reliable and solid.

I would rather have paid more and got a better sake. It does the job but the keypad wouldn't work at first.It is not a great quality safe. It is light and in comparison to the others I have bought is not in the same league. This is my 5th safe from the safe shop and I have been happy with all the rest. The service I received when I couldn't get it to work was fantastic. They followed up my calls and even checked a week or so later that it was working and I was happy with it.

This safe was bought on behalf of our Community Library following the demise of the Library's old one. As we never hold more than £300 in cash at any one time (and no valuable documents), a low spec safe fits our bill exactly. It fits exactly under the counter, and we had it bolted down professionally. It is easy to operate, the combinations are easy to set, and it is a great comfort to know that there is a key back-up. There is even room in it for the library volunteers' handbags!

The Yale Safe was really well made and has a vast space area, it's very easy to use and was very well priced.

I managed to get a very good price on this due to a very minor cosmetic problem. It is a very secure and sturdy safe and I am delighted with my purchase.

A great little safe, perfect for our small offices. We needed a more robust storage in our office for the petty cash and important documents. As we are renting the office space this small but sturdy safe ticked all the boxes. With adjustable shelves, a number entry system and 2 override keys it is very simple and fool-proof to use.

We are not bolting the safe down at present but as we find more permanent offices there is no doubt we will be taking our stocky little safe with us.

In short this is a small, secure and practical safe.

Excellent product excellent service. Had an issue with a part missing when delivered nothing to worry about the missing item was sent out the next day. Can not recommend this company highly enough.

I got the man that fitted my house alarm to drill this safe into my floor and my wall. I suggest both fittings. He advised me not to use the code, as burglars look for numbers that are most frequently used - think he said they use a powder. I have only used the key. I suggest you give a key to a neighbour or a friend, etc.

There is a shelf in side and ample space for passports, jewellery and documents. It is suitable for a family and I guess too small for a business.
