I have difficulty turning the handle on the lock due to arthritis in my hand. Can the handle on my yale lock be removed by one which gives a longer lever?

Unfortunately, the knob cannot be removed to be replaced with a longer handle. You may prefer to change the lock to something like the Yale 84 - Standard Nightlatch (40mm), which includes a longer handle.

Is this latch weather proof and suitable for use on a gate?

The Yale 723 Nightlatch is fine for outdoor use and providing the gate thickness is within 32 - 57mm it would be suitable for use on your gate.

Is this narrow lock reversible for outward swinging doors?

The latch is reversible on this lock but you will also need to order the reverse strike plate from the listed accessories at the point of order.

What are the dimensions of the keep? We have a very limited width on our door frame (30mm). Thank you.

The dimensions of the keep are 31mm x 66mm. You may prefer to look at the Yale 84 - Standard Nightlatch (40mm) where the keep dimensions are 27mm x 70mm.
