The remote module and remote keyfob are specifically designed for use with Yale Keyfree connected smart locks and will not work with the Yale Doorman V2.

This accessory is not compatible with third party devices.

To operate the Yale Keyfree with a remote, your lock must include the Yale Smart Lock Remote Module, which can be clipped in to place on the inside of the inner handle. Your lock will then be ready to pair up to five Remote Keyfobs. To operate the lock with your phone you must instead install the Yale Smart Lock Z-Wave Module or the Yale Smart Lock Connected Module which give you the option to open the lock via your smartphone. It is not possible to use a remote keyfob and your smartphone with the lock at the same time because you can only install one module.

The Remote Module can be placed inside the internal handle to allow the lock to be operated with a Yale Smart Lock Remote Keyfob.
