ABUS Diskus 26/80 Padlock

Great simple lock with ease of use. I would imagine it is very secure due to the shape of the lock and this is what I wanted. Had to apply some grease to the moving parts to keep it moving smoothly but it has been fine in the bad weather. Quality lock.

It's Abus, so of course it's well made. I bought this to fit a very particular type of fully shielded garage door / gate lock that I had designed and made.

While it took a while to find exactly the right diameter / spec, Safe's service was straightforward and reliable and I would recommend them. There is some movement in the clasp as it comes around, but then that's inherent in the design of the disc case. In terms of security, I can't tell you how secure the padlock is because I'm not a burglar, thief, or locksmith, but it seems to be serving its purpose! :-)

Really pleased with my ABUS Discus 26/80 padlock. It looks so chunky and secure but not too big. The padlock is used to secure my motorbike so it is in daily use with the ABUS chain. If security is difficult to use then it might not be in place to protect our property. This easy to use lock just feels so solid and the locking action is smooth similar to a bolt action. It should last for years. Great service from safe.co.uk. All in all a very satisfactory experience from purchase to prompt delivery. Peace of mind and security at a good price.

Anice alternative to conventionsl padlock style.

the reason I bought the padlock was the best I could find for a trailer hitch lock but the hitch lock wouldn't fit the trailer so I bought a wheel clamp. Keeping the discus padlock cos it seems very very good for whatever ???? Can't score the "stars" cos have not found a suitable use for it yet, but I will.
