ABUS Monoblock 82/90 Shutter Padlock - Keyed Alike

We have used these shutter padlocks in our premises for a number of years now and have always found them robust and reliable. Particularly like the feature where no key is required to lock them.

They are used outdoors and have never caused us any problems with wet weather and require minimal maintenance to keep them operating in good order.

Bought two keyed alike locks for securing an outbuilding away from the house. Being made by Abus they feel solid, they have a good weight to them which indicates quality materials and that should mean more difficult to break, cut or lever open. The shaft is just the right length to pass through the one inch sqaue bar used to secure the building so no exposed metal for the theiving fraternity to get a grinder on. Lots of spare keys for peace of mind and each one operates smoothly. Would definitely buy more when needed but these look like they will last a long time

Bought for a bit of a home security project, needed 3 locks in close proximity so chose keyed alike. The Padlocks have a nice positive spring which pops the bolt back when unlocked, a feature I also like is that they simply click back to re lock, so no fetching the key out again. It starts getting costly when having multiple locks but these are strong and well built so should last a long time, mine are indoors so shouldn't have problems with corrosion. Because they are keyed alike you also have a healthy surplus of spare keys, handy if you use different bunches of keys. Recommended.
