The safe is fireproof for 30 mins however presumably the passcode entry panel would have melted. How would you reopen it after a fire?
Simon, Guildford
You would need to contact a local locksmith to open the safe for you. The contents of the safe would be protected.

When fixing this safe to the wall, does the safe have to be lying on the floor or could it be suspended and not supported by the floor?
Raj, London
I would always recommend any safe to be supported whether on the floor or on a well supported shelf suitable to hold the weight of the item. Installing a safe without any support would damage your walls over a short period of time.
