The safe is fairly good build quality, The only thing I would say is that the key mechanism does not appear as solid as I would have liked. It is a little fiddly to engage the key inside the key slot, it takes a bit of wiggling about. I would have expected it to have felt a lot more solid but having said that, it may just be that the key needs to be inserted and removed a number of times to take the 'newness' off of it.

Overall, I am satisfied with the safe for the money, and would likely recommend it to anyone who enquired about it.
