Fire Protection

This safe includes 60 minutes fire protection, tested to NT Fire 017-60P standard, to ensure that important paperwork is not damaged in the event of a fire. The fire endurance test, completed by ECB-S, exposes the safe to furnace temperatures over a period of time to measure the internal temperature. The double walled steel door is filled with fire resistant barrier material and ensures a low internal temperature for up to 60 minutes.

Insurance & Police Approved

This safe is both AiS insurance approved and Secured by Design for the ultimate in security accreditation and peace of mind. The Association of Insurance Surveyors (AiS) is an independent body that determines a safes suitability based on manufacturers test certificates and is one of the UK's leading accreditation bodies. Secured by Design is the official Police security initiative for the development of security products that reduce crime.

Installation

This Ignis S2 safe is designed to be installed the floor or wall with one pre-drilled fixing hole in the base and one in the back. It is strongly recommended that the safe is installed to a solid concrete surface for the most secure fix. A fixing kit is supplied, comprising of two masonry 12mm diameter fixing bolts. Installation can be completed on a DIY basis or installation can be purchased with the safe.

High Security Keypad Locking

This safe is secured by an electronic keypad which is certified to EN1300 Class B. The keypad is powered by a 9v battery and has the facility to set your own six digit user code and also has a time delay feature from 1-99 minutes.

High Security Locking Bolts

The door is secured by three-way extra-large 30mm steel locking bolts which are operated by the safes handle when the safe has been unlocked and when locking the safe. This safe includes locking bolts on the top, side and bottom of the door which ensure the door remains in place if the external door hinges are sheared off during a burglary attempt.

Door Pocket and Key Hooks

located on the inside of the door is a pocket which is ideal for storing a passport or other small important items that you needs fast an convenient access to. The back of the door also features five key hooks for storing and organising keys.

Fittings

Internal fittings include a handy pull out tray that allows you to keep valuable jewellery or cash separate and organised from other contents in the safe. The pull out tray also offers convenience, so that you can easily find smaller items. The safe also features a motion activated LED light which is illuminated when the safe door is opened.
