Hi, can you tell me is it possible to mount the Burton Torino so the door is facing upwards? I wanted to be able to bolt it down from the back (which would normally be bolted into a wall) but instead bolt it to the floor so the door was facing upwards. Will it still work and is it still secure?
Sunny
Although possible we would not advise that the safe is mounted in this way. The lock mechanism is not designed to work horizontally and would likely fail after a period of time. There is also a risk that the handle could become disconnected from the lock. Either of these scenarios would result in the safe having to be forced open resulting in damage to the safe.

I want a left hand hinging door - is this door reversible?
Anonymous
It is an industry standard for all safes to be right hand hinged and unfortunately the door is not reversible on any safe.

What size safe would I need to store a standard size laptop, documents and the odd bit of jewellery?
Anonymous, Fordingbridge
A safe capable of fitting a laptop inside would need to be no smaller than 430mm wide by 350mm deep but I would advise measuring your laptop before you buy. We do sell a range of Laptop Safes designed specifically for laptop computers.

What is the dimension of the door as I need to know if my cash drawers will fit?
Kevin Fernandez, York
The door aperture is: 140 mm (height) x 250 mm (width)

The Burton Till Drawer Safe may be a better alternative.
