Pros: Neat little safe deceives would-be thieves by hiding your valuables "in plain sight". I disagree with those who say that the inner canister should fit more snugly inside the outer "candle" - the way it is makes it easier to access as you can lift the "candle" up leaving the canister flat on the table or window ledge. Cons: A thicker wick would make it slightly more convincing.
