Is the Alpha Plus 2E fire resistant? And what walls can it be screwed into? Thanks.

The Chubbsafes Alpha Plus 2E can be base fixed into a solid concrete floor or back fixed into a solid brick wall. It does have fire retardant materials but has not been tested to any specification. If you are looking for a safe that has a 30 minute fire rating and has also been tested I can recommend the product CH-EAR15E
I am looking at purchasing one of these to sit in a fitted wardrobe that backs onto an external wall. Rather than securing it to the wooden floor of the wardrobe, I want to secure it to the wall, but sitting on the floor. Is this possible, or does it have to be secured to the floor?

This unit is suitable for both Floor or Wall fixing. You could back fix this unit to an external wall, but you will need to ensure that any skirting boards or obstructions are removed prior to installation to enable a flush fit to the wall.
