It depends if your insurance company has advised you to buy a safe for insurance purposes. If they have they may insist you have the safe professionally installed and we can offer this service.

If you are purchasing simply for peace of mind then you could certainly install this safe on a DIY basis. There are two expansion bolts included which are designed to secure the safe to a solid floor (ideally concrete) and this user guide provides more detailed information.
