Looked at many safe options but this looked best value for money. Good sturdy construction with proper locking pins. Very heavy so would not be easily moved when secured in place with the locking bolts supplied with the safe. I found it easy to install myself and it has both back and bottom fixing positions so it can suit any position you may want to put it.

Just the right capacity for a home safe and the included adjustable shelf enables you to store different size and weight objects separately. It is supplied with two keys which are easy to locate in the lock and they cannot be removed until you have locked the safe so no chance of forgetting to lock it. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

Build quality seems very good. It is very solid and robust. I have it securely bolted to the floor and it’s going nowhere!

I prefer the key operated door as I don’t have to worry about remembering a code or changing batteries.

The only downsides are that the storage capacity isn’t very large (although big enough for my requirements) and the metal interior is obviously hard. If you’re storing jewellery you might want to line with a soft cloth.

I recommend the safe and would buy again.

The Chubb safe was easy to install, with fittings supplied and clear instructions. A variety of fixing holes allowed sufficient choice to locate the safe, with fixing through the back or base. The lock movement is smooth and door is balanced well, allowing easy opening. Delivery was as advised, with the driver bringing the mini pallet into the hallway for later installation. This is a very heavy product, it was packed securely and was delivered without damage. The internal fittings allowed a range of shelf heights to suit jewellery and cash boxes. Two keys supplied as standard.

After considerable research using on-line sites and various retail shopping catalogues I found that the Chubbsafe Zeta 15K was one of the very few safes available that met the conditions of my Home Insurance Company and my wall mounting requirement. It was also the cheapest of the few that met this criteria. I am a retired Mechanical Engineer and upon receipt of delivery of the safe was immediately impressed by the quality of manufacture. It was easy for me to install and my wife and myself find it so easy to operate despite its robustness. We would not hesitate to recommend the Chubbsafes Zeta 15K safe to anyone seeking a high quality safe to protect their valuables.

After a lot of research and googling I settled on this safe for a number of reasons.It's a Chubb! it was approved and recommended by my insurance company. It's compact but large enough for documents and personal items, easy to install because it comes with pre-drilled holes for floor and or wall mounting, eurograde 0 certified and was the most cost effective safe of its type on the market. Internal light would be nice but not essential. I like the key locking mechanism as have had problems with digital keypads in the past. Can't think of any cons at all.
