To set the code do you have remove the backplate and springs to get to the keypins or can you set the code without removing the backplate/springs etc?
Kev, Lancaster
To set the code on a mechanical digital door lock, you must remove the back plate and switch the red tumblers to fill the position of each number you wish to use in your code. The process is less complicated than it sounds and is explained fully in the User Guide.
