Overall am satisfied with the product as it’s doing the job I bought it for. However the app can sometimes be slow to load and I have to log out and log in several times before getting the current camera view. A couple of times the camera has either not been working at all or not recording so I have to go over to my dad’s to restart it which defeats the object as I’m trying to avoid going unnecessarily at the moment due to the current lockdown situation. Otherwise it is helpful as we can make sure he is eating and taking meds and ring to remind him if not. Also gives peace of mind that he is safe. I think it was a little pricey compared to others on the market but not used those so can’t really compare if it’s worth the extra or not.

The camera's are solidly built and have a good battery life; so far I have had them for over a month and only charged them once. The wi-fi set up is fairly straightforward but the mydlink app, the means by which it is all controlled, could be a lot simpler to use. It has little or no useful literature to accompany it, relying on the design’s intuitiveness. The problem is that it is not. However, D-Link are regularly revising and updating the app so I have some hope that programming the cameras recording behaviour via the app will become more user-friendly.

Very pleased with security System. Picture quality is brilliant and the free years data storage is much better than you get form others I looked at buying. Once big Plus - installation is very easy!
