Stainless Steel is a higher quality material and as a result is more expensive, and from a manufacturing volume point of view less common than the standard steel models. Unfortunately the lower volume and more costly material increases the overall cost.

This post box can be fitted to a post but you would most likely have to drill holes to suit and in doing so void your warranty. You could always purchase the Brabantia - U100 Stainless Steel Mounting Post which fits perfectly.

Each individual postbox has its own unique key and will not work on a different box.

All Brabantia post boxes conform to British Standard EN 13724.

This box is designed for standard post rather than parcels, this will however depend on the size of the parcel being delivered.
