Designed for the centre of the ceiling, this ERA PIR motion sensor gives a 360 degree coverage of your room.

For use with: ERA HomeGuard Alarms.
360 degree detection range.
433 MHz frequency prevents wireless interference.
Low power LED indicator and transmitter.
Requires 2x AA batteries (included).

Will pets trigger this ceiling pir sensor?

This sensor will trigger the alarm when any motion is detected. You will need the ERA Pet PIR Motion Sensor.

Could this be used to protect a shed? I'm keen for any potential alarm to cover my shed due to bikes and mowers.

ERA sensors have a large 80m wireless range. Providing the sensor is located within range of the main hub this should be able to cover the desired location. It's worth noting the range quoted is in perfect open field conditions, any objects between the sensor and hub, such as walls, will reduce the range.

Is this safe to use with pets?

The Ceiling Sensor will detect any movement and is not suitable for use with pets. You will need to use the ERA Pet PIR Motion Sensor's if you have small pets.
