- The ERA Wireless Alarm series are a range of smart home security alarms designed to give you ultimate control of your home security. The intuitive wireless system has been designed with DIY in mind ensuring no wiring or running cables in walls or under the carpet and you won't need the services of a qualified electrician.
The alarm components are easy to install on a DIY basis and have a wide 80 metre wireless range (in open field conditions) using a 433MHz frequency, ensuring you can place them practically anywhere.
The ERA Garrison Alarm PLUS is an SMS communicating alarm with integrated mobile phone technology and is operated by a compact control panel, with touch keypad, which incorporates a SIM Card holder and allows communication directly with the control panel. In addition, the alarm system can be operated via a Smartphone App or one of the included remote controls. This alarm kit includes a wireless solar powered external siren box which produces an 110db siren when the alarm is triggered, to alert others of an intruder and the system will also alert you via text message or app notification.Garrison

1 x Pet PIR Motion Detector
The pet friendly sensor activates when larger movement is detected making it ideal for homes with one small pet (less than 20 - 25kg). The detector should be placed in the corner of rooms that are vulnerable to intruders. When the alarm is armed an infrared sensor will detect any larger movement and activate the loud alarm siren.
1 x Door Sensor Contact
When the alarm is armed, if a door or window that is protected by the contact is opened the contact is broken activating the loud siren.
2 x Remote Keyfobs
The keyfob is used to arm or disarm the alarm system without the need for a PIN code and can be used from any room in your home. The keyfob also includes a panic button should you need to sound the alarm in an emergency.
1 x Compact Control Panel
The keypad is used to arm or disarm the alarm system via entry of your own unique PIN code. The keypad also integrates a SIM card holder allowing you to listen in and two-way talk via your phone.
1 x Outdoor Siren Box
The solar powered siren box includes a rechargeable battery and does not require a mains power supply. Fitted in a highly visible location on the exterior of the property the loud 110dB siren will sound and the LED will flash when the alarm is triggered.

Alarm control by SmartPhone
You can access all of the alarm settings and features via the ERA Garrison Alarm App (available for iOS and Android). The system can be activated and deactivated using your SmartPhone.*
Safeland Connect Homes
This ERA alarm is compatible with Safeland (previously Trygve) - an online community that allows people to connect to other people in their local neighbourhood via a SmartPhone app or PC. When connected, the alarm can alert other users when it is triggered and the neighbourhood can then pull together using Safeland messaging to deal with the situation as a team.

GSM telephone connectivity
The alarm system includes a built-in SIM card holder and can store up to five individual telephone numbers and will send text message alerts when the alarm is triggered.
Part arming by zone
The alarm can be set to create two different zones allowing you to arm one or both zones. This can be especially useful if you decide to split the upstairs and downstairs of a property into two zones. While away from the property you would activate both zones and during the night you could activate only the downstairs zone.
Solar powered
The alarm siren box includes a rechargeable battery which is charged by a solar panel. There alarm siren box is completely wireless meaning there are no wires or cables and you will not need to climb a ladder to change the battery. The standby time for the alarm is 45 days to ensure the alarm stays powered even when there is no sunlight at all.

Absolutely perfect for what I needed to make my workshop safe and secure from any possible intruders. Located approximately 50 metres away from the house it was always a worry that I may have hand tools, power tools, machinery, timber and lots of miscellaneous tools possibly stolen. Now I can be away from home, and also sleep easy at night knowing my workshop is as secure and safe as it can possibly be. I have never installed an alarm before, but this was extremely easy to set up and could be done by anyone with the most basic DIY skills. I could not recommend this alarm system more highly to anyone wanting to have the peace of mind installing an alarm system.

Brilliant product, bought this for a new bar out of town where I live so with the smartphone and messaging service it’s ideal for me.
Self Setup was very simple for me all you need is a ladder, a drill I’d recommend using longer screws rather than those what come with it as they are fairly flimsy. The motion detector and door contact are very good and work straight away.
The only slight negative is the buttons on the keypad aren’t great on touch as the buttons do need quite a bit of tough pressing.
Overall great product and would definitely recommend and buy again if needed!

The system to does not require a SIM card to function. The purpose of the SIM is for the notifications to your phone. You can set and re-set you access code as often as required via the keypad.Phil RWas this helpful?2

How would I know which sim to buy for this product? Would it just be any standard sim from O2 or EE? What sort of air plan would you need just calls only for a very low price per month? I have a flat on the ground floor. Many examples of similar flats being robbed by smashing glass door from the garden. If I get this alarm and vibration sensors, is there a way to set it up in the way that it triggers alarm if these sensors are triggered, even while we're at home?Yauhen, LondonThe Vibration sensor once disturbed would trigger the alarm when activated. A notification will not be sent to the APP as this alarm cannot be connected to the internet.
