When looking for a security option for a friend who was working to a tight budget and is not very tech savvy, I opted for the ERA Garrison. And I am glad I did.

Install and set up is a breeze, but what sets the ERA apart from the rest is it also very simple to use.

From placing the control panel and fixing the PIR and door contact sensors (all of which are wireless) you can simple power up the system and synchronise. I installed the app to my friends phone, and a PAYG SIM card to the control panel and setup took around 45 minutes.

As the ERA control panel is intuitive, my friend finds it very easy to use. One button for arm, one button for part arm and one button for disarm (obviously after entering the code). Also with the app installed remote arming and disarming is an added benefit.

I would certainly recommend this alarm.

The security system is very easy to set up and operate. We have had a Mi Guard on our previous house that is still working good

The build quality is very good on both of these models and is a very good visual deterrent. We will be getting another one to put in our holiday home too
