The main hub does require a mains power supply. However the hub does have a built in rechargeable battery to ensure the alarm would still be active and functional in the event the power is cut.

The PIR would not detect any pets under 25KG as they recognize body mass. Having two small pets should be fine if they are below this threshold.

This alarm system can be armed using the key fob.

It is possible to arm and dis arm the alarm using the smartphone app.

You can purchase additional components to this system at anytime. This alarm system can have a maximum of up to 50 components in use at any one time.

Unfortunately we do not sell Sim cards at present, although any standard sim card would be fine apart from the network Three.

Additional components do need to be linked to the alarm system via the central Hub. You will receive instructions to do so.

The back up battery would only power this system for up to 4-8 hours on a full charge. The siren boxes for this system are solar powered but the central HUB does require a mains power to keep the system active.

This system does not require an internet connection, it would operate by Sim card. You must download the app on to a mobile phone to use the app based features.

This system has a 80 metre wireless range so this would be possible.

The solar powered siren is designed to be screwed to the wall. The siren is relatively simple to fit for anybody confident in DIY. We do offer professional installation on our alarm systems should you require this service.

The hub power supply is a 3 pin plug. The hub is supplied with a wall mountable mount, which can be fixed using screws. Configuration and set up of features can all be done via the app.

The individual components can be setup and synced to the system at any time of the users choosing.

The alarm does not need a SIM card to function but it does require this for the sending of alarm notifications as they are sent via text message rather than through broadband.

This system will still function as an alarm without a SIM card, but a SIM with credit is required for the alarm notifications. It is not Wifi enabled.

You would be contacted via the App however txt charges would apply per notification for example if the alarm was triggered. I would recommend arming and disarming the alarm via the key fobs or hub as there would be no charge.

The system can be set to create two different zones.

This alarm is compatible with the iPhone SE. The smartphone must be IOS 7.0 or above, or Android 2.2 and above.

This system does not connect to the internet. Notifications are sent via text message from a sim card. The ERA HomeGuard Smart Alarm Pro - Premium Kit has both options available. It can connect to the internet router via wifi and send notifications via a push message through the app or via a text message from a sim card.

The SIM card and GSM technology links the app to your alarm. All you need is standard Pay as You Go Sim Card with credit. Additional sensors can be easily linked at any time to the alarm system.

The Sim card will only be charged when a notification is sent, you will not be charged for using the app.

Unfortunately this model does not have a chime feature.

The system can notify of alarm activation via phone call or via text message.

The alarm system cannot be accessed or activated via text, this is an outgoing service for notifications only. Mobile phone access and control is provided via an app.

The alarms are only supplied with, and can only have one central hub. You could use a ERA Wireless Touch RFID Keypad as an accessory and another means to arm / dis-arm the alarm.

Unfortunately this is not suitable with the network Three due to the alarm system running on 2G as the sim card is only needed for calls and text messages, most Sim cards can adjust to the 2G configuration however Three networks operate from 3G only.
