A well made and robust key safe with easily moveable key racks and neat and tidy finish. External appearance very well finished and attractive texture. A sound and strong key safe box with easy instructions to follow. Installation was very simple and all parts and fixings supplied. The door opens easily and the construction quality is obviously good because of the ease of door swing. The combination lock is simple to use and programme as well as a solid feel to the keypad and large numbers /letters making it easy to operate. Spare keys are neat and the throw bolts of a decent size for security. I think anyone trying forced entry will have a serious problem gaining access. The body of the safe is of solid construction and well built.

This key safe is a good product, slightly let down by having only two holes in the backplate for mounting. This works if mounting to a solid wall but, due to other constraints, I was mounting it to plasterboard and it would have been useful to have more mounting holes available.

Helix Digital Key Cabinet 60 arrived very promptly, it was packed extremely well and all components were there. It was exremely easy to put together and to install. The locking system is nice and easy and the use of batteries is great and they are easy to install too. We have been able to get all our required keys easily into key safe. It seems to be coping very well with the slamming of it's door by six busy technicians and two valeters. I would easily recommend this product to all our sister garages for use in their workshops and valet bays.

Generally a good and certainly a secure product. Not without minor issues which could be improved: when we received it and put the batteries in the lock electronics were dead. Taking the back plate off the lock revealed that a multi-connector had disconnected in transit. This was easily rectified.

The aluminium strips which provide the key hooks are very flimsy and too easily slip out of their mountings at the top - just a cheap bit of design that could be better. In using the keypad you have to remember to wake the electronics by pressing "Start" first - this confused some of our users because it was different from our previous model, but just needs getting used to.

The soft rubber keys are much better than our previous touch-pad which constantly wore through, but because they are soft they occasionally stick when some users don't push them straight - retained hard plastic keys would have been a better choice. These minor issues aside we are pleased with the product in use.

Firstly, the supplier ensured that the safe was delivered on time. It was easy to attached to the wall. The build quality is to an excellent standard, and very re-bust. There is plenty of space for the keys, as long as you hang them on the key ring. Setting the combination is easy, and being able to have 2 different combinations say for staff/managers makes it assessable to account for the keys (spot checks). The batteries are easy to change when required. We have had no issues with this safe since purchases earlier this year, and this unit is used at least 10 times a day, usually more. Good purchase.

Standard Key Cabinet Installation

We offer professional installation on our complete range of Key Cabinets.

Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your key cabinet.

Your installation will include fixing the key cabinet to the wall using the fixings included with your key cabinet. The fixings are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete and plasterboard stud walls.

The position of your key cabinet will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes or cables within the wall.

The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the key cabinet is secure before providing a brief demonstration of your key cabinet and confirming the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.

If applicable, additional costs are to be paid before installation begins.
