Great key safe for the office. Not the most secure, but perfect for what we needed.

Fine except for one thing. If you have a key on a key ring, the cabinet is too low - the key hangs out of the bottom. I know I should have checked the height before I ordered, but actually most people will want to hang keys on key rings in key cabinets, so most people will find it too low.

Ideal for keeping all the keys safe and in one place. It's easy to just pick one up and go to open the workshop etc. without searching.

Very good product for use for safe key storage on our
railway product built by our company.
We will incorporate this product on a regular basis if we obtain more orders in the future.

The product itself. Nice solid unit. Compact, easy to install, only took 2minutes!
External dimensions: 110x224x46mm (HxWxD).
There are 10 small hooks on the back plate. It can accommodate more than 10 keys!!
there is a 20 hook version with the same dimensions. The additional 10 hooks are on the inside of the door plate.
I managed to fit allot of keys into the unit, I wish in one way I purchased the 20hook/key version. This is because the hooks are spaced very close to each other. For this reason I gave it 4/5stars
What comes in the box?
Helix key cabinet with cylinder lock
2 x keys
10 coloured key fobs
Numbered sticker to put over the hooks
Helix Sticker table (to write what keys correspond with the number)
2 x screws
2 x wall plugs (approx. 30mm x 6mm)
Installation
It’s a doddle; it took a couple mins to install. I did however use a 5.5mm drill bit instead of 6mm as I think the fit is better. Find a suitable location to install the cabinet, mine is under the stairs. Ensure there’s enough room for the unit to open and close properly. Using a spirit level ensure the unit is flat. using a pencil, mark two corresponding holes with the unit. Drill through those holes, Insert the wall plugs. Place unit on wall and tighten the screws using a screwdriver.
What tools are required?
Drill
5.5mm or 6mm drill bit
Philips screw bit or screw driver
Pencil for marking hole
Spirit level
How much protection does it offer?
it's a cabinet but it can keep your keys safe from losing them.
In my view it doesn't and won't offer protection against a career criminal. It could easily be ripped off the wall and with the right tools opened quickly.
For me its not a problem, i just need something to store my roof box keys, roof bars etc but i am a tiny bit worried about the keys to the vault i have built in my underground bunker housing gold bullion and jewels. ;-)
