Details
The igloohome Smart Padlock uses Bluetooth to provide key free security wherever it is needed. With a weather resistant design, the smart Bluetooth padlock offers convenient and reliable security for shed locks, gates, and bike chains.

Shared access is easily managed via the igloohome app for iOS and Android smartphones. Coupled with an audit trail feature that logs who opens the lock, when, and for how long, your smartphone gives you total control over your smart padlock.

Powered by a CR2 battery (included) an external battery point allows emergency power to be supplied to your padlock should the battery run out before it can be replaced.

Lock Control by Smartphone
igloohomes' Smart Lock App allows you to open the padlock via Bluetooth when in range and allows you to send PIN codes to friends and family remotely for as long as you choose. The App also provides an audit so that you can keep track of who comes and goes.



Smartphone App


Access via PIN code
The mobile app allows you to create permanent PIN codes that provide access any time. You can also create one time PIN codes to provide one off access or you can set a duration PIN which allows access for a specific time period.

Lock Privacy
The padlock includes a decoy code feature which allows you to enter additional random digits to the beginning of your code if you have somebody watching over your shoulder.

Sync with Airbnb
If you are an Airbnb host, you can synchronise your listing calendars with your igloohome account so that PIN codes are automatically created for guests.


Requirements: Compatible with Apple iOS and Android smartphones.

Purchased the lock for a customer who has difficulty using both hands to use a lock and key, or combination lock. The customer has found this easier to operate and I think it’s a very solid lock.

Bought one for the shed in the garden so there is no need to look for the key all the time. The lock looks solid and smart. Giving temporary keys is handy. Would definitely recommend

Excellent product to better secure our side gate. Appreciated for the number of options provided : Permanent PIN, Duration PIN, Recurring PIN, One Time PIN, Bluetooth Key. Also appreciated it the ability to retrieve the log of past uses so audit can be performed on which codes were recently used to unlock the device. Another nice feature is the auto lock capability that is an ease of use option. Finally, even if we did not take advantage of it, the ability to install a longer shackle would enable additional deployment use cases. Only criticism is the limitation of PINs to 6 characters ; 8 would have been appreciated.

So, in short the lock can be opened without manually inputting the code using the keypad on the lock itself, it can be opened remotely using your smartphone?
