Once you learn how to cut and join the USB cable to get it to pass through a 6mm hole (very easy!) the install is quite easy and the performance of the camera itself and the app is excellent. With an outside light we get full colour footage at night which I haven't seen any comparable product do. The zone control in the app works well so we get minimal false alerts - apart from when we've had very heavy rain or snow! I would recommend this as a much better value alternative to Nest or Hive cameras in performance as well as price.

This is relatively easy to install and set up by a person with reasonable DIY skills (if installing on a brick wall a drill with a masonry bit is required). The main challenge is the power is fed to the device using a lead with a USB A plug that needs to be fed through the wall (or another root into the building) or a weather resistant USB power supply fitted externally.
Video feed is of good quality and the app is easy to set up. Notifications can be set up to notify if movement is detected and built in light can be used to illuminate the view. Two way audio is useful, especially when a cuppa needed in the garden!
