Excellent service an exact replacement for interior door fitted 18 years ago didn’t think I would find one the same quick delivery

I bought this latch to replace an equivalent Century item that was some 30 years old and no longer available, this replacement needed some adjustment to the holes in the face of the door where the door furniture spindle passes through as there was a difference of about 9mm from the original and adjustment was needed to line up with the door furniture, however it was straightforward to elongate the holes with a round file, as long as your furniture has a wide enough face plate to cover the adjustment you should be fine. Once fitted the latch was silky smooth in operation and after working as a time served Carpenter for 25 years up to 1998 its good to see a recognised brand such as Legge still making quality ironmongery rather than some poor Chinese incarnations which are flooding the market today. Excellent product.

Solid, easy to install latch. Difficult size to get and fitted perfectly.

Great replacement product for a latch over 50 years old. Easy to fit, required only small adjustment to existing fitting woodwork. Works a treat and very pleased with product. Finding a replacement was hard for something so old, but managed to find this perfect fit which resolved problem for elderly parents. Payment was an easy process. Marked down security as it's for an internal door so irrelevant really, rather than an issue with the product. Delivery was timely and enabled the job to be done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend to anyone needing to replace a latch to consider this.
