Though these locks can be keyed alike the barrels cannot be changed due to the way the spindle is attached to the back of the cylinder.

There is very little chance that this lock would not operate by the code that you have set. Each button can be set as active or inactive by swapping blue and red tumblers on the inside. Therefore, the lock cannot be tampered with and a wrong code cannot be set by mistake.

Should you encounter any problems with the code, there is an override key and the lock is covered by a manufacturers 12 month warranty.
