I would suggest using strong cable ties if attaching to a wire mesh fence. However if you would like a post box designed for metal railings I can recommended the Black Railings Post Box.

Although the post box has a key lock I would not consider this suitable for collecting money. I would advise this Sentry Day Deposit Safe 25K from our Deposit Safes category.
