Lock corroded up almost immediately. When it rains hard it rains in wetting the mail. Looks good though and easy to fix to the wall. Would I buy it again, no.

This was bought as a gift so I have not used it.

On initial examination I was pleased with the general appearance and build and felt it was well priced .

This is a lovely looking mail box. Unfortunately it hasn’t got a big enough opening for parcels.

The unit is lightweight and easy to install and matched exactly the description on the website. It's attractive to look at and you can see inside through the small translucent squares on the front so you don't even need to open it to check if you've had any post. The slot at the bottom is ideal for a tabloid newspaper but a substantial one such as the Sunday Times is a bit too big so our paper boy puts the newspaper in the paper slot and the extra magazines etc. in the post box, which works fine.

Almost impossible to fix to the wall as it comes as the spacers just fall off the screws when lifting it up to the wall. Also, getting a screwdriver inside it and lined up with the screws is hampered by their position with respect to the flap and door (which doesn't open all the way). You need four hands to even attempt to get the first screw in as you have to put the spacer on the screw, lift the box to the wall, hold the flap or door open and get a screwdriver to the screw head all at the same time. Designers did a terrible job on the mounting method I had to invent my own system to hold the spacers on the screws and even then it's a tough job needing two people. I hope it is weather resistant as despite being under cover the last box I bought from here (allegedly stainless steel) rusted badly in about three years and the hinge fell apart.
