The Phoenix Fortress SS1181e is designed to conform to the latest and prestigious European S2 Standard and protects against burglary attack. This safe comes with a recommended insurance rating of £4,000 cash or £40,000 valuables and is secured by a high security VdS electronic combination lock powered by 1 x 9v battery (included). With pre-drilled holes in the back and base, the safe comes ready prepared for floor or wall fixing, with a fixing kit supplied. This safe also includes Professional Installation.

Amazing product . Very fast delivery. Proper packaging.

Very easy to use. Very nice and strong body . The lock seems to me very strong.

Wos worried about battery, was thinking will needs to change them very often but not, good surprise it's work for very long time which is very good. Also if your battery is dead you can easily open it with new one with out any problem. If you put cod three times incorrectly then you have to wait some time until it will you put pin again.

Very good quality. Manual is very simple.

Definitely recommend this safe

It appears to be the correct size for our needs. Within the insurance cover necessary it seems to deliver as required.

Quite a weight for it’s size it seems to have a robust construction and the installation instructions were easy to comprehend.

Fairly easy to install it would have been better to have had two rather than the one securing hole to the rear.

It’s operation could not be the adore and it is definitely much more practicable than any key operated alternative.

The setting procedure for the codes was slightly confusing and as a result we opted for only one means of operation, otherwise fine!

the safe was easy to install with the provided bolts, it is now very secure

re programming the user code was simple following the instruction

actually found the storage capacity a little less than expected but then that's my fault

security wise, I hope I never find out how good it is but it certainly looks like a deterrent and gives us peace of mind

with the peace of mind and reduction on house insurance I would say great value for money

Great little safe. The first one I have owned so was hard to judge capacity. Works well for my needs and can remove the shelf to make more space. A felt liner would be nice but I can add that myself to keep smaller valuables from scratching. Would buy this brand again!

    Standard Safe <25kg Installation

    We offer professional installation on our complete range of lightweight safes under 25kgs.

    Our experienced engineer will complete a brief site inspection and then discuss their findings with you to agree positioning of your safe.

    Your installation will include bolting the safe to the floor or wall using the anchor bolts included with your safe. Anchor bolts are designed for use with a solid surface such as brick or concrete. We cannot install your safe to floorboards or a stud plasterboard wall.

    If you are choosing a wall installation you must ensure the skirting board has been removed prior to installation.

    The position of your safe will be governed by safe site access, and other obstructions such as submerged pipes/cables or under floor heating.

    The engineer will carry out a final assessment to ensure the safe is secure.

    Additional Information

    Non-standard Installation

    In some cases, it may be necessary to install additional materials or provide extra resources (manpower) to facilitate an installation in a safe manner.

    If additional costs are likely these will be discussed with you prior to installation. Reasons for extra costs might include:

    • Specialised access equipment and permits such as hoists, lifts and cranes.
    • Outside of normal hours working (Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm).
    • 4x4 Vehicular access requirements to remote rural sites.
    • Road closure including necessary permits.
    • Additional manpower to overcome technical, lifting or safety access issues.

    We offer installation throughout the UK mainland, however some more remote and rural post codes in the Highlands are subject to a surcharge to cover additional fuel and traveling time costs.

    The following areas will incur a rural travel surcharge:

    Warranty Terms & Conditions

    Our installer provides a standard 12 month warranty on all new installations and a 3 month warranty on all materials provided during maintenance visits.

    Note: Existing system components and pre-supplied equipment are not included in the installation warranty as these elements are covered by the Manufacturer warranty.

    We reserve the right to undertake an ‘Assessment Call’ without prejudice to investigate any complaints relating to materials failure or poor workmanship to assess if the complaint is valid. Please note that remedial service calls generated by elements outside of our sphere of influence or due to different fault conditions will be chargeable to you at an agreed call out charge.

    In scenarios where you request a post installation service call and our assessment identifies the fault condition or cause of the fault falls outside of the limitations of the standard installation warranty (Force Majeure, different fault etc) a call out charge will be incurred for the visit.

    Assessment calls raised for reasons outside our sphere of influence or responsibility and not covered by the standard installation will incur a call out charge for labour and additional materials.

    The following are examples of when a call out charge would be incurred:
