A bit surprised that this didn't feel better quality for the money. To be honest, doesn't feel much better quality than a hotel room safe. However, I guess you are paying for the fire proofing. Do be aware that the securing mechanism is one big bolt that goes through the whole base of the safe so you'll need to make sure that you have a strong substrate there. I am assured that this big hole doesn't affect the fire rating, but I would imagine that would only be true if the substrate was non-flammable!
