I don't usually write reviews, but I am very pleased with our safe.

I have been wanting a fire proof safe, big enough for the deeds to our house, wills, passports etc... the things it would be a real hassle to lose.

It is big, strong, spacious, and reasonable price wise, so I am very pleased.

I am still to bolt it to the floor, but the holes are all ready to do so, covered with rubber bolts, which I assume keep it fireproof. It is heavy, so will need to be set on the floor, or I am going to bolt it to a cupboard floor.

I had been looking for a good fire/security safe for quite a long time. There are many where the fire proofing material (silica sand) starts leaking out. But this is a warning to all... every safe I carefully checked out as accepting unfolded A4 sized paper was in fact referring to the American size A4 which is smaller Or the dimensions given are for the outside of the safe so again too small inside. However, this particular safe takes A4 in envelope size, has key hooks on the inside of the door and a top shelf too. Plus it is not too heavy to pick up (knees bent!) to place it where you want it but is too heavy to run off with. At last a safe that ticks ALL my boxes thank you. Easy order, good price and quick delivery too.

What a pleasure to deal with a company that makes you feel you are a special client to them. The staff I spoke to were exceptionally pleasant, helpful and sounded concerned regarding the reason for my contact.

I had an issue with the locking mechanism which intermittently did not work. The situation was explained to the after sales team and within the very same day I had received a phone call back from them and their technical expert. The resident expert explained that the safe should be replaced and the old one ( less than one month ) returned.

Having explained that I had destroyed the original packaging I was reassured that it was not a problem and the new safe was being despatched that very day. The packaging from this new despatch was to be used for the old safe and once it was done a short phone call precipitated a collection of the old unit which happened the following day. From complaint to satisfaction took less than one week and to crown the whole situation I had been sent an upgraded safe .Safe Co said they were happy to let me have this modest upgrade at no extra cost. Whilst I would not anticipate everyone getting an upgrade after a complaint I do have to praise and thank the staff for the way my situation was handled and the speed the issue was resolved . This product is exactly what we wanted, big enough to store the items we wanted it for. It fitted where we wanted to fix it and this was very easy to do. Have no problem with it at the moment and would recommend this safe. Although we knew it would be heavy it was quite hard for us to get upstairs where we wanted it kept but with time and care this was fairly easily done.

This safe was easy to install, with fixing bolts to hold it secure, for added piece of mind. The lock is a simple key, which is perfect for us. Build quality is great, size is good- easy holding all our documents of A4 size. It could probably hold Foolscap size too. The top drawer is handy for the things you need more frequently, but it can be removed if you did not want it. All in, a great Safe. Pleased with our purchase.

I researched quite a few via website & read reviews & have to say I am really pleased with this one.

Size is ideal for us.

Key option is easy to use.

Safe is incredibly heavy - do check weight size for where you are placing ( & carrying ) .
