Hello there,
I recently bought some dead locks from you (order number S434303) keyed alike.
Turns out I now need a back-door sash-lock too, can I order one of them and still use the keys from my first order. can you key this new lock alike like the previous ones?
Thank you,

Regards,
Arne

Yes, there would be no problem at all to have the new sash-lock keyed alike. If you could call our sales team and ask for me personally I will be more than happy to help.

My front door is set between full length glass panels and has a frame that is only 30mm wide. Will it be safe to cut deeply enough into that for a sashlock with a 20mm bolt projection? If not, can you suggest any alternative for getting my front door security up to insurance criteria? The current set up is a cylinder nightlatch plus a 3 lever sashlock that that goes only 10mm into the frame. Many thanks
Paul, Durham
All mortice locks that comply with British Standard BS3621 have a bolt projection of at least 20mm and meet insurance criteria. There should be enough space for this if you have 30mm to play with. One other option could be to have an insurance approved nightlatch fitted.
