This safe would be fine to install on a wall. The door is supported by a gas strut and would assist with opening upwards. The only issue might be that items may fall out when the door is opened.

The door aperture measurement of H 250 W 330 mm is crucial, depending on the laptop dimensions you may need to angle it when placing it in the safe.

This unit is suitable to affix to a solid surface using the base fixing holes. There are no pre drilled holes on the side of this unit. If you are securing it to wood then I would recommend bolting it to wooden joist for extra security.

The emergency override key hole is located underneath the keypad. To reveal the key hole, very carefully peal pack the keypad sticker from the top corner. This process should only be done in case of emergency.

With good quality batteries and infrequent use, you should expect a minimum of 2 years before you have to change them. In case of battery failure, there is a back up override key.
