The descriptions mentions an access point for laptop power cables, which surface is the access hole in and how big please?

This unit has two access points at the back of the unit and each hole diameter is approximately 10mm.

Sentry X125 has internal width of 426mm which is okay for my laptop at 382mm. However, door opening is quoted at 370mm. Would this be a problem?

The door opening on the X125 is not wide enough to accommodate your laptop, you need a door opening width of at least 383mm. I would suggest the Yale Safe Laptop as an alternative, which has a door opening width of 408mm.

I am looking at this safe for my son for college and he needs to get his 18 inch laptop in it. The internal dimensions of the unit will take the laptop but I am a little worried about the size of the opening behind the door. I would be interested in knowing the size of the opening.

The door aperture opening on Sentry X125 is 370mm. Even if you insert the laptop on an angle it still wouldn't be suitable for your laptop. Try our laptop safes for 17 inch+ screens.
