Yes the camera will still detect motion and record, however light reflection from the glass may cause and decrease in image quality.

No subscription charge. You will record directly to the DVR box.

The lights are only activated when the cameras detect motion. They can be disabled completely from the smartphone app if you wish to do so.

An internet connection is only required if you want to remote access the system via the app.
