- The Swann DVR-4980D 8 Channel 5 Megapixel - 8 Camera True Detect CCTV Kit with multi channel playback includes four bullet and four dome weather resistant cameras rated to IP66 with enhanced infrared LED night vision providing a range of up to 30m. The system also includes a 2TB hard drive and has eight channels in total.
The PRO-5MPMSB and PRO-5MPMSD cameras can be set to record continuously, at a set time or only when motion or heat is detected, providing more reliable notifications and recordings and making it much easier to view important footage, while at the same saving on hard disk space. If using motion detection we generally advise setting the most commonly used camera to 4 hours. What is the largest external hard drive I can connect to the DVR and what specifications would it have to meet?ryan humphreys, OldhamAudio Output is for connecting to a stereo or amplifier. I would like to buy the Swann System for my retail shop however I would like to know the difference between the Dome and Bullet Cameras?Vipulkumar Patel, KENTThe Dome cameras would be more discreet and suitable for indoor and outdoor use however they have a slightly reduced viewing angle compared to bullet cameras which are best suited externally.Tom WWas this helpful?7
Due to the location where I want to put my dome cameras, I cant hide the connecting cables. Do you offer, or will the domes fit on a dome extender base? If so, which one?George, London
