Hi does the HD box have to be physically connected to a router via Ethernet cable or can it be set up wirelessly to enable users able to view cameras remotely?

The DVR needs to be connected to the router via ethernet cable. It is possible to view live and recorded video footage via the smartphone app.

Where do the pre made connectors plug into the cameras? Is it behind the cover that forms the base?

The cables connect to the camera underneath the cover which forms the base of the camera unit.

Does this camera have a built in infra red spotlight or does it rely on visible light from another source?
