The Swann DVR8-4750 8 Channel 3 Megapixel - 6 Camera CCTV Kit with multi channel playback includes six weather resistant cameras rated to IP66 with enhanced infrared LED night vision providing a range of up to 30m. The system also includes a 2TB hard drive and has eight channels allowing for an additional two cameras to be added if required.

The PRO-T858 cameras can be set to record continuously, at a set time or only when motion is detected, making it much easier to view important footage, whilst saving on hard disk space. The Swann DVR8-4750 provides crystal clear high quality 3 megapixel resolution recording and playback via your TV, SmartPhone or Tablet using the SwannView Link App* (available for iOS and Android).

Hybrid DVR1 x Hybrid DVR with 2TB Hard Drive
The Hybrid DVR will simultaneously monitor and record up to 2TB of footage from multiple cameras ready for viewing at any time when connected to your TV via HDMI cable (included). Unlike a standard DVR a Hybrid DVR will accept both standard analogue cameras and IP network cameras, making it incredibly flexible compared to other systems.

Remote Viewing by SmartPhone

How many Channels
The number of channels indicates how many cameras can be added to your system. An eight channel system will allow up to eight cameras.

Single or Multi Channel Playback
Single Channel playback allows you to view only one camera feed at a time regardless of the number of cameras. Multi Channel playback allows you to view multiple camera feeds via the same screen at the same time.

Recording Resolution
The resolution indicates the size of image that is captured by the camera, the larger the image the clearer the image will appear. Higher resolution cameras are ideal when viewing footage on a large TV screen. Lower resolution cameras are perfect for viewing high definition video on your smartphone or tablet.

Video Backup
Using a USB memory stick or external hard drive you can backup recorded footage from the Hybrid DVR and transfer to other devices or pass onto others should the need arise.

* Requirements: For remote viewing via SmartPhone this CCTV system requires a broadband internet connection with a router that includes one free wired network port. SmartPhone must be iOS 6.0 and above or Android 4.0 and above.

If using motion detection we generally advise setting the most commonly used camera to 4 hours. We have set all other cameras to 2 hours as an estimate, but you can change this below to suit your needs.

Do the cameras require a power supply near to installation location?

The cameras do not need to be located near a power supply as they receive their power from the DVR. The cameras connect directly to the DVR via the 18m BNC cables.

What is the frame rate of the recordings?

The standard default frame rate is 8 frames per second. However, this can be modified via the options menu and can be increased to 12 FPS.

I’m interested in the 3MP camera system (4 motion detector and 2 heat sensor). Is it possible to use the heat sensor cameras to activate the whole system ie all cameras. I want to avoid unnecessary camera activation? Also my router is along way from where the dvr will be positioned. Can it be linked WiFi?

When set to motion detection the True detect cameras will only activate if a heat signature is detected. This will not activate the other cameras and these would start recording regardless of a heat signature being picked up if motion is detected in any form. The DVR cannot be linked via Wifi.

Do I need an internet connection if I am only viewing through a monitor?

You can view through a monitor, but without Wi-Fi connection you will not receive any notifications on your smartphone if motion is detected.
